Cold Hall, Warm Hearts!

Our last meeting was met with mild weather outdoors, but rather chilly temps indoors! The heating was broken in Alma Hall, but the beautiful church came to our rescue with a grander backdrop than we're used to for our monthly meeting. We had a lovely time catching up and discussing the resolutions, which led to a lively debate, and took the opportunity to shop at our book and regifting stalls. A special thanks to those who helped the evening go smoothly, despite the change of venue.

Unfortunately, it appears February is going to turn cold once again! We had a little reprieve from winter, but it was not to last. So, we will have to keep warm together and listen to another wonderful speaker. On 28 February, we will host Claire Hiscock, Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon & Somerset. She will discuss their priorities for tackling violence against women and girls in our area. We will be meeting in our usual location, the rear hall of Alma Church, at 7.30pm. Visitors are always welcome to attend our meetings with a £5 donation.
