At the September meeting we'll be having a cookery book sale, so if you need to make space on your kitchen bookshelf for all that gorgeous food porn you can't resist adding, or if you've been given recipe books that aren't really for your sort of food, this is your chance to de-clutter!
Please put any cookbooks aside to bring to the September meeting. Thank you.

Clifton WI meet on the last Wednesday of the month (except July and December) in the hall at Alma Church between Alma Vale and Alma Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2ES. Entrance is via St John's Road. Go through a small metal gate and the hall is to one side of the Church.
We gather at 7.30pm - help is always appreciated setting up for our meeting and we aim to finish at about 9.30-10pm.
Non-members are always made very welcome and may attend up to 3 meetings a year at £5 (cash please) per time. Simply turn up at 7.30pm for introductions, a chat and refreshments; most talks begin around 8 pm. You're guaranteed to find a friendly face to greet you at the door and introduce you to some more. You'll find that as an urban WI our interests are very wide and perhaps not what you expected of the WI? We keep the formalities to a minimum.
